Ego!

What is Ego?

It is the worst enemy of a person itself. Ego needs honors to be validated. It is a sense of superiority. If we are egoistic, no matter what we achieve, we will always feel nothing. In the presence of ego, Self-confidence becomes Arrogance, Assertiveness becomes obstinate and Self-assurance becomes Reckless abandon. Ego is self-anointed and stolen and also blocks the scope of self-improvement.      It kills what we love, sometimes it even kills us!

3 Harsh realities!

  1. We are not nearly as good or as important as you think we are.
  2.  You have an attitude that needs to be adjusted.
  3. Most of the things that you have learned are out of date.

3 Common symptoms of ego!

  1. When we have craving for public attention.
  2. When we start buring truths in the ground.
  3. It wants us to think, I am special, I am better and the rules don’t apply to me.

Talking

We talk to fill the void and uncertainty. Work and chatter - one kills the other. When facing a challenge don’t talk face it head-on. Silence is strength but also just because you are silent doesn’t mean you are humble. If you truly wanna be humble, be humble in your thoughts too.

Past

The obsession with the past with someone or what someone did to us, or how things should have been-all is ego embodied. There is nothing progressive when we are trying to take revenge.

The consequences of ego are always disastrous!

Fight yourself against ego

Eliminate all the ego and find the true you. Always ask does this action taking you anywhere closer to where you want to get. Harder things are broken by hard things. The bigger the ego the harder they fall. We only recognize ego when we are at the end of the cliff in other words when we can’t do anything so be careful.

BE READY- The world will show you the truth just be ready to accept it. Face the symptoms, Cure the disease, ego only makes things hard, to deliberately avoid seeing the changes that we need to make in our life.

Humility opposite of ego

Greatness comes from humble beginnings

Helping others is helping yourself

It is the thing that is present in all the great personalities in the world. A very few are born with it and many learn it. Being humble means being gracious in our success and being resilient in our failures. We are truly humbled when we start believing that our greatness is the death of our creativity. Sit down and think deeply about what you want to achieve. When feeling proud ask yourself what am I missing right now if I was humble and also observe what are you trying to avoid.

It engenders learning because it beats back arrogance.

Some learn to be humble, others choose the egoistic path.

SUCCESS

Be clear about what is important to you and who you want to be.

In the beginning, we all know what we want but as we achieve something we lose insight into priorities as ego sways it away. We start to think that we should achieve more, but in reality, it prevents exactly what we seek. Find out why you’re after what you are after.

Keep ego aside and accomplish the most you are capable of No more No less.

Fight yourself against ego

Don’t be over-ambitious

Man of great ambitions has sought happiness but has found fame. Always be focused on the drive to be happy.

Don’t tell yourself a story!

Instead of pretending we are living a great story be focused on execution and executing with excellence. There is nothing in pride for you. Realize that the world doesn’t revolve around you and also never built pride based on what you have.

Who you should be!

Your dreams, demands, and ambitions for better life fuel your efforts but if left unchecked become hubris and entitlement. Always remind yourself of your power and reach and don’t begin to overestimate your powers, then you start losing perspective. Be goal-focused but also don’t confuse it with Progress.

Don’t be passionate, be purpose-driven!

Passion is a kind of unbridled enthusiasm. These people can tell you what they want to achieve, they can tell where to begin, but they can’t show you their progress. It’s all about accomplishing something beyond yourself.

BE REAL!

Figure out what to do first, what to do right now, whom we are comparing to, and what to do to move forward. The critical work we want to do requires deliberation and consideration.

Always stay a student!

Seeing much, studying much, suffer much is the path toward success. There will be an uncomfortable feeling, a defensiveness when your deeply held assumptions will be challenged. Never lose the ability to learn. Learn from everyone and everything. There’s a simple rule of learning-pick a book on a topic on which you don’t know anything and start learning.

Work Work Work! We know a workman by the chips of work he leaves.

We are not as good as we think so stay focused and do better.

DEVELOP POSITIVE HABITS -Where we decide to put our energy decides what we will ultimately accomplish. Never look back expect to find your mistakes. The caliber we have been given by birth is not in our control, but we do have control over what we make out of that material, see clearly what we are talented at and where we need improvement, We should face our shortcomings honestly and put the time in it. Be the best version of yourself. Measure yourself against your own potential and Capabilities. There is only one difference between a professional and a naive one know that having an idea is not enough we have to put it on a page.

Get out of your head! Living presently and clearly takes courage

Live with tangible and real things even if it's uncomfortable, Nobody is interested in you or is watching you, don’t overthink about this. We are stuck inside our heads instead of participating in the world around us.

Failure!                                                                      The only failure is abandoning our principles!

Almost always your road to victory goes through a place called failure, to achieve success, accept it and push through it. Don't believe what society says about you ( according to society's main metrics those people who are never rewarded for their work should have never done it) BEWARE OF EGO it is fatal during failure. when ego meets failures and adversity it starts breaking rules and it's a life-threatening disease. Just set your objectives for the long term and never look back on short-term setbacks. In failure, it is easy to pass the blame to someone else. It’s a kind of distraction. From the failure comes the opportunity for great progress and improvement. Always learn from failures.

Draw the line!

Shit happens. Sometimes in public too. The question is are you going to make it worse. We will lose in life but it does not mean we will create a lose-lose situation for all. Hate will always try to get you every time.

2 kinds of people!

Alive- They are learning and acting as well as utilizing every second they have.

Dead -They act passive and are just waiting for success to come towards them which never comes.

I choose to stay alive.

If you are doing your work it's enough. Never crave validation to be happy.

Manage yourself!

The person who clears the path ultimately controls its direction.

Be responsible. Ask yourself questions about who you are why you are here and what you are doing. what's your role in this world. It requires readjustment and also the clarity of the purpose. It’s important to know what is important and what is urgent. Focus on what is important. Little things are endless and engaging while the bigger picture can be discerned.

Be sober!

It is a counterweight that must balance our success.

If you want to be happy never crave attention. Happiness is only in solitude. There are many swirling forces around your ego. Take part in a never-ending fight against it. We must rule our values and not be ruled by them. Competition is important but we should know exactly with whom we are competing and why.

Aspire!

It’s rare to have humility, diligence, and self-awareness. Practice seeing yourself from a distance. Be action and education-focused and also Be natural to yourself. Our beliefs must be dependent on our actual accomplishments and if we don’t have any accomplishments until now then it’s good news improvement is possible.

Learn from failures but also don’t forget to learn from success!

Always love!

Don’t be miserable just because other people are. We all have stuff that pisses us off. If love is too much to ask for, just move on by shaking your hand and just laugh as attempting to destroy something out of hate and ego often ensures that it will be preserved and disseminated forever. Never forget which is bigger and which has been here longer.
